La recerca del nostre grup estudia la biologia vascular i la fisiopatologia del miocardi orientats a la caracterització dels mecanismes cel·lulars i moleculars implicats en l’inici, la progressió i la complicació de l’aterosclerosi, l’aneurisma d’aorta abdominal i la hipertròfia cardíaca, amb la finalitat última d’identificar noves dianes terapèutiques i biomarcadors que permetin millorar el diagnòstic i el tractament del pacient.
