Explore non-contraceptive benefits of hormonal contraception.
Develop tools for the early diagnosis and management of heavy menstrual bleeding.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, premature and normal menopause, amenorrhea.

Challenges

To develop and test in the clinical settings easy tools to identify heavy menstrual bleeding.
To evaluate the impact of the different contraceptive methods on the characteristics of menstruation.
To evaluate the cost/benefit ratio of using non-surgical approaches for hormonemediated organic gynecologic diseases.
To build up a nationwide registry of Premature Ovarian insufficiency (POI).
