About the Unit / Group
Clinical Research Group, Medical Oncology Department
For over 10 years, the Clinical Research Group of the Medical Oncology Department has been committed to generating knowledge in clinical research, particularly in developing new cancer treatment strategies. The group conducts more than 90 clinical trials across all tumor pathology areas, promoted both by academic cooperative research groups at national and international levels and by the pharmaceutical industry. They run Phase I, II, and III studies and have produced numerous publications across oncology fields.
Main research lines:
- CLINICAL: − Development of new therapeutic strategies. − Studies to improve tumor staging. − Studies on minimal residual disease detection.
- TRANSLATIONAL: − Personalized cancer therapy. − Studies of predictive and prognostic molecular markers.
Essential requirements
- Minimum qualification required: Higher Education (Bachelor's Degree, University Degree) in Health Sciences
- Accredited professional experience in clinical trials
- Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate, or promise to obtain, within a period not exceeding one year, a correct knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia.
- Intermediate Level of English
- Advanced knowledge of office tools (excel, word, power point, etc). Skills will be valued
- Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare management.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Database knowledge.
- Advanced English for technical platforms and documentation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and Kairós.
Functions
- Accurate entry of clinical trial data into Electronic Data Capture systems (EDC/CRF).
- • Resolution of data queries and discrepancies with CRAs, coordinators/nurses, and investigators. Support in:
- Maintenance of the Investigator Site File (ISF) and documentation archive.
- Maintenance of internal databases.
- Creation of profiles and scheduling of patient visits, procedures, and tests.
- Preparation of nursing sheets and kit stock control.
- • Equipment return management.

- Temporary 6-month contract due to increased workload.
- Annual working time: 1,627.5 hours (37.5 hours/week).
- Salary: €29,207.42.
