Internal promotion call for a T1B - Senior Laboratory Technician position within the Pharmacy Research Group. Application deadline: 14 October 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

About the Unit / Group

The aim of our research group is to investigate and improve the use of medicines and optimise patient outcomes through research and evidence-based practice.

Essential requirements

Minimum qualification required: Higher Level Vocational Training / FPII or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of accredited professional experience.
Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the successful candidate must demonstrate or undertake to obtain, within a period not exceeding one year, an adequate knowledge of both official languages of Catalonia.
Intermediate knowledge of office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Current employment relationship with the Institut de Recerca Sant Pau.

Skills and experience that will be valued

Experience in warehouse management and use of LOGISFARM, STOCKEY CENTRAL and APOSTORE software.
Experience in sterile drug compounding.
Experience in the use of Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTD).
Availability to work on weekends and public holidays, if necessary.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Skills in teamwork, professional and institutional commitment, results orientation, flexibility and continuous learning.

Functions

Management of clinical trial medication: reception, custody, preparation of intravenous medication, dispensing of oral medication and control of returns.
Review of stock levels and expiry dates.
Registration of medication movements in the clinical trials computer application.
Support to the Quality Area.
Assistance to clinical trial monitors.

We offer

Indefinite contract.
Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours/week).
Remuneration according to the applicable collective agreement.
Incorporation into the Pharmacy Research Group.
The promotion will take effect retroactively from 1 October 2026.
