The XWHIN Network (Women’s Health Innovation Network) is opening a call to recruit a communication manager linked to innovation and knowledge transfer initiatives in women’s health, promoting collaboration between research, the healthcare system, the productive sector and social stakeholders.
This position offers the opportunity to join a leading interdisciplinary and innovative network
in the field of women’s health, both in Catalonia and across Spain, with a clear international
outlook. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to define and implement the
network’s communication strategy and brand identity. The activity will be carried out in a
collaborative, dynamic and excellence-oriented environment that fosters networking and
the generation of synergies. The position will provide access to a broad network of research,
healthcare, institutional and industry stakeholders.

Essential requirements
- Minimum required qualification: Bachelor’s degree in the field of social sciences (preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations or Marketing).
- Proven minimum of 4 years’ experience in the comprehensive management of multichannel campaigns and content.
- Demonstrated experience in the Health and Research sector.
- Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia. Catalan level C or, failing that, the selected candidate must demonstrate, or commit to acquiring within a period not exceeding one year, an adequate knowledge of both official languages of Catalonia.
- Advanced oral and written English skills (negotiation level).
- Advanced knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Skills will be valued
- Master’s degree in science communication or similar.
- Experience in communication departments and advertising agencies.
- Experience in communication departments of scientific and/or health institutions.
- Versatile profile with strong organisational, planning and evaluation skills.
- Creativity and lateral thinking.
- Ability to work in a team and generate key internal and external collaborations.
- High level of initiative and autonomy.
- Initiative and results-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (writing).
- Dynamic individual with an interest in research and innovation in the field of health
Functions
Strategic
- Define and deploy the network’s communication strategy, in coordination with the Network Management and the Institute’s Communication Department, aligned with its scientific, institutional and social impact objectives.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the network’s brand identity, in collaboration with the external agency and suppliers.
- Advise on the definition of key messages and the positioning of the network towards different audiences (scientific, institutional and social).
- Identify opportunities for visibility, collaborations and communication actions linked to projects, events and research outcomes.
- Operational
- Plan, create and manage multichannel content (website, social media, newsletters and corporate materials), ensuring coherence and rigour.
- Manage and energise the network’s digital channels, ensuring they are up to date and well positioned.
- Coordinate with the different nodes and stakeholders of the network to collect, synthesise and disseminate relevant content.
- Prepare institutional communication materials (presentations, dossiers, briefings, reports, etc.).
- Any other function identified as necessary for the proper functioning of the network. Offered
- Permanent part-time contract linked to the Women’s Health Innovation Network (XWHIN), file reference number 2025 XARDI 00009.
- Part-time working hours (813.75 hours per year; 18.75 hours/week).
- Salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
