About the Unit / Group
The XWHIN Network (Women’s Health Innovation Network) is opening a call to recruit a Project Manager linked to initiatives in innovation and knowledge transfer in women’s health, promoting collaboration between research, the healthcare system, the productive sector, and social stakeholders.

Essential requirements
- Minimum required qualification: Higher Education degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) related to the area of the position.
- Proven experience of at least 4 years in a Junior Project Management Technician position or equivalent.
- Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia. Catalan level C or, failing this, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to acquiring an adequate knowledge of both official languages within a maximum period of one year.
- Advanced oral and written English skills (negotiation level).
- Advanced knowledge of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Skills will be valued
- PhD in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Social Sciences applied to Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or related fields.
- Training or previous experience in integrating a gender perspective into research and innovation.
- Training or experience in innovation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and/or coordinating R&D&I projects or public-private partnerships, preferably collaborative projects funded through competitive calls.
- Previous participation in research networks or multi-institutional consortia.
- Experience in preparing and monitoring technical reports, justification reports and project deliverables.
- Competence in managing project timelines, milestones, indicators and risks.
- Ability to establish key internal and external collaborations.
- Strong organizational and methodological skills.
- Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary and multicentre teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
Functions
- Coordinate the technical implementation of collaborative R&I projects promoted by the network.
- Advise on the strategic alignment of proposals with scientific priorities, social impact objectives and equality policies.
- Monitor project implementation (milestones, deliverables, indicators and risks), ensuring compliance with deadlines and objectives, and prepare activity reports.
- Ensure the cross-cutting integration of gender perspective and intersectionality across projects and network activities.
- Maintain project monitoring systems, project databases and stakeholder mapping tools.
- Propose continuous improvements to network management processes.
- Prepare documentation for governance meetings (agendas, minutes, executive and monitoring reports).
- Perform any other duties required for the proper functioning of the network.
Offered
- Permanent contract linked to the Women’s Health Innovation Network (XWHIN), file number 2025 XARDI 00009, supported by the Department of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia.
- Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours/week).
- Salary according to collective agreement.
- Affiliation with the Responsible Research and Innovation Unit (RRI).
