To consolidate the group as a research team in different fields related to cardiac surgery, especially sutureless valve prostheses, use of the radial artery in myocardial revascularization, and different TAVI approaches.
To participate in the assessment and validation of new products used in cardiac surgery, such as hemostatic agents and sutures.
To collaborate with different national and international research teams involved in the group’s lines of research, including studies on epicardial fat (Endocrinology) and calcium channels in atrial myocytes (ICCV).
