About the Unit / Research Group

The Sant Pau Mental Health Research Group conducts predominantly clinical research aimed at addressing the needs of patients treated by the Psychiatry Department of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, covering a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.

Challenges

Promote research to reduce the healthcare, social, and personal burden of mental illness through the study of epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, pathophysiology, prevention, and treatment.
Advance research into new therapeutic approaches for mental health disorders.
Foster research aimed at improving the quality of life of people with mental health disorders.

Essential Requirements

Minimum qualification: Higher Education Degree (University Diploma or Bachelor's Degree) or equivalent.
Oral and written proficiency in the two official languages of Catalonia or, if not currently held, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to acquiring an adequate command of both official languages within one year.
Intermediate level of English.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Psychology.
Master's Degree in Neuropsychology and/or an Official Master's Degree in Psychology or Psychiatry.
Experience in clinical and neuropsychological assessment, as well as in the treatment of mental and psychiatric disorders.
Experience in mental health research.
Knowledge of statistics.

Main Responsibilities

Recruit study participants.
Perform clinical and neuropsychological assessments of patients with mental health disorders.
Manage case report forms (CRFs) and electronic databases.
Participate in statistical analyses and interpretation of research results.
Collaborate in the research activities of the group.

We Offer

Permanent contract linked to the research line on affective disorders.
Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours per week).
Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
Integration into the Sant Pau Mental Health Research Group.
