Essential requirements

Minimum required qualification: Higher Education (University Diploma or University Degree), preferably in Medicine.
More than 4 years of demonstrable experience in the specific area of work.
Oral and written knowledge of both official languages of Catalonia, or alternatively, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to achieving within a year a proper understanding of both official languages.
Advanced level of English.
Advanced knowledge of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Skills will be valued

Experience in mechanical ventilation and pulmonary function equipment in laboratory rodents.
Experience in animal models of experimental asthma and in vitro models of airway remodeling.
Experience in experimental immunology, induced sputum processing, and multiparametric flow cytometry.

Functions

On-site management of the Experimental Pulmonology Unit.
Development and execution of specialized tasks and innovation in experimental asthma, in vitro models of airway remodeling, mesenchymal stem cell biology, cellular genetic modification, and production of recombinant biological agents.
Basic science support tasks for the group's research lines.

Offered

Permanent contract linked to the project "Discovery, Synthesis, and Preclinical Validation of a Novel Airway Smooth Muscle Anti-Remodeling Therapeutic from Mesenchymal Stem Cell's Secretome-Derived Proteins for Asthma", with the support of La Marató de TV3 Foundation (file 202528-10).
Annual working hours: 37.5 hours/week.
Salary according to collective agreement.
Research group: Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition.
